Public Information Meeting - Downtown Revitalization Initiative

Those in attendance will be provided with information on the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) followed by an Open House to review potential projects to include in the application. The DRI program is a comprehensive approach to downtown revitalization that provides $10 million to one community in each New York State region to support implementation of transformational public and private projects that support long-term revitalization.

This is an opportunity for residents and businesses in the community to provide feedback and help the community submit a competitive application.  The DRI Committee working on the application would like to know what you love about Downtown Perry, what draws you downtown today, and what types of projects or amenities would bring you downtown more often.

This effort builds upon the multiple successful downtown projects including the Main Street streetscape improvement project, multiple building improvement projects, the Comprehensive Plan, and Perry Main Street Association initiatives.
